HONEYMOON IN AUSTRALIA

(click on the notes to learn about the music)

We spent 2 1/2 weeks in Australia (February 1994) for our honeymoon. The trip to our first destination was a 20 minute ride, via a small airplane, from the Cairns airport, north to Cape Tribulation. We spent 5 days there, at the Coconut Beach Resort, exploring the Daintree Rainforest and horse-back riding on the beach. We then spent 5 days and 4 nights on a dive boat, diving the Great Barrier Reef (including sitting in on a shark feed). We spent 4 days at the Reef House in Palm Cove. From here we took a train ride to Kuranda Village and rented a car for a trip to Port Douglas. Most of our time was spent in North Queensland, but we finished up with three days in Sydney. The natural beauty of Australia is what we found most appealing, and so our pictures emphasize the flora and fauna of the Land Down Under.
